Just a few pictures of our Christmas! I was very proud of myself this year….Seasons of life change as your children grow. With our son, Brian, married and our daughter, Alicia, in Pittsburgh with a retail management job, Ron and I had to be flexible this year. It taught me a great lesson in what the true meaning of Christmas is. Not when or where you celebrate, but that you truly celebrate the birth of Christ with the important people in your life. We celebrated with Brian and his wife, Laurie, on the Friday before Christmas and then took off for Pittsburgh on Christmas Eve to spend Christmas with Alicia. Not only that but spending time with my dad and my family had special meaning this year. Dad suffered a massive heart attack last Christmas and was here to celebrate again with us this year. My brother had a bad accident and fractured his neck this past summer, and he is healed and back to work! Ron was saved by the protection of God when the steps to our deck fell out from underneath him, and my nephew was home!

I’ve always been quite the traditionalist when it comes to Christmas Morning and having everyone home to celebrate together, but this year I actually learned that spreading it out over several days is kind of fun, and it isn’t about the stuff, time, or place, but the magic of being together!
